Meet Herbert "Hal" Rosenthal, Trainer/Consultant
Having been called upon over several decades as management consultant to solve problems, Hal has become somewhat of an expert in the nature of the origin of problems. He has found that a company's prior failure to accurately define one or more problems is the key source of future problems.
Early on he spent nearly five years studying why failure to accurately define problems is so commonplace and what to do about it. The result of his efforts was the development of a uniquely effective management training program. The first such program was the main thrust of his organization, The Institute for Group Dynamics, and subsequently his company called Participatory Management Corp.
Also, since multifaceted ramifications are inherent in major decisions they must first be identified in order for them to be timely addressed. In terms of relevant business experience, use of a generalist such as Hal is often more practical than a specialist.
Hal is a recognized financial expert witness in Federal and State courts, an author, lecturer, management trainer and former management consultant. His management consulting and training clients include numerous small to medium size companies and large companies such as General Motors, Scott Paper Co. and EDS Corp. (regarding the large companies; focused on specific goal attainment and problem resolution).
