German Applied Chemistry Publishes ECUST Latest Research Progress of Asymmetric Catalytic Conversion of Olefins

Recently, the research group of Professor Chen Yifeng from the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, and the Joint Research Center of Feringa Nobel Prize Scientists, ECUST has made new progress in the field of asymmetric catalytic conversion of olefins. The related research article was published in German Applied Chemistry with the title of “Nickel-CatalyzedEnantioselective Reductive Alkyl-Carbamoylation of Internal Alkenes”.

The article is co-first authored by Wu Xianqing, a postdoctoral fellow of the School of Chemical Molecular Engineering, and Aneta Turlik, a postdoctoral fellow of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and is co-corresponding authored by Professor K. N. Houk of UCLA and Professor Chen Yifeng of ECSUT. The research received support and guidance from Professor Qu Jingping and it has been financially supported by the Frontier Science Center of the Ministry of Material Biology and Dynamic Chemistry, the Joint Research Center of Feringa Nobel Prize Scientists, the National Natural Science Foundation, the Shanghai “Qi Ming Xing” Project, the Shanghai Natural Science Foundation, the basic scientific research business expenses of central universities and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation.
